1.     Spiritual Growth

The Christian walk is a lifelong commitment to God, and His desire is to draw closer to you during this walk. He wants to enlighten you, show you His ways, increase your faith, expand your wisdom, prosper you and bring you to righteousness. He wants you to flex your spiritual muscles and put on the armour of God. We believe there is no better way to do this, than to immerse yourself in established programmes created specifically for this reason by the Church. Weekly Faith Teachings will open up new revelations from the Word, as will learning the art of intercession. The Church is essentially a community designed to optimise and accelerate your spiritual growth.

2.     Fellowship

The bible says in Matthew18:20, “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the middle of them.” This scripture not only confirms God’s desire for a ‘gathering’, but also touches on the power of numbers over an individual. God has called us to fellowship with each other, build each other up and worship Him as a collective.

3.     Lighten The Load

A heavy burden shared is a lesser burden. It’s through fellowshiping, creating relationships, and even relying on Pastors or leaders to advise and intercede on your behalf that you’re able to make your load lighter. Often times all we need is an ear, someone who will listen, and who better to do that than a Church member who shares your faith and values? What better comfort than know you have a congregation who’s committed to keeping you in their prayers?

4.     Outlet To Serve

Service to God and serving fellow man is what we’re called to do. However often times, the desire to serve is thwarted by failure to access the right means to do so. Recon Ministries has a Welfare Ministry department that is a recognised Non-Profit Organisation and we’re committed to serving our community through welfare, care, education and medical upskilling and other requirements. It’s what we’ve been called for and it’s an important part of our Church. We encourage our member to contribute in any way they’re able to and through it, reap the rewards that come with service.
